I'm Michael from Scarlet Studios, and I have a slight addiction to shooting weddings. After what feels like a thousand weddings, I'm still obsessed with finding new camera tricks, creative techniques, and ridiculous fun ideas to make every wedding look even more epic than the last.
When I'm shooting, I'm relaxed, easy-going, and all about making you forget there's a camera in your face. No modelling experience required, if you can laugh, hug, and occasionally look at your new spouse, you're already overqualified. Just enjoy your wedding while I quietly run around like a caffeinated ninja capturing all the good stuff. Couples describe my work as warm, natural, candid, cinematic and beautiful... although my mum still insists my greatest achievement is being "very handsome."
I've earned the nickname "Ninja" because I move around like a trained assassin. I'm everywhere and nowhere at the same time, quietly sneaking around capturing genuine moments before disappearing into the crowd. Even the most camera-shy groom usually forgets I'm there... until I trip over a chair or he sees the photos and wonders, "Hang on... when did you take that one?"
